MUST THE USER KNOW SWIMMING?
Yes, you must be able to swim and with a buoyancy aid (life jacket) be confident in the water. The inflatables is located in deep water for safety reasons. You also have to swim to the park to gain access.
CAN WE WEAR SHOES ON THE PARK?
No shoes or flip flops are allowed, boarding is done barefoot.
DO I NEED TO MAKE A RESERVATION OR BE AT A SPECIFIC TIME?
No, your ticket is taken when you want to enter the park because it has a specific duration, 1 hour from the time of entry, unless you choose a day ticket. There are some load days you may have to wait. Of course, reservations are also made.
DO I HAVE TO WEAR A UNIFORM OR T-SHIRT?
No, a uniform is not needed, a t-shirt would be good to wear especially for users with a life jacket so that the skin does not rub during the game.
CAN I JOIN IF I'M PREGNANT?
We strongly advise you not to participate if you are pregnant.
DO I NEED TO REMOVE ALL JEWELRY?
Yes, all jewelry must be removed before entering the park, including ALL removable dangle earrings. Also smartwatches are very easy to unclip with the game.
CAN I HAVE A WATERPROOF CAMERA IN THE WETPARK?
Yes you can, however they MUST be secured with a chest strap – camera use at your own risk. We cannot be held responsible for any lost devices.
CAN I WEAR MY GLASSES?
It is strongly recommended that you do not wear your glasses, rather your contact lenses. If you must wear your glasses, this is done entirely at your own risk, as there is a high chance that you will lose or damage them. Swimming goggles are not allowed either for the same reasons (possibility of getting hit if running in inflatables).
DO I HAVE TO BE PHYSICALLY ABLE TO PARTICIPATE?
You have to be able to pull yourself out of the water and it can be very tiring. You don’t have to be very fit to take part, however it is a very active sport.
IS THE WETPARK FUN FOR ADULTS AS WELL AS KIDS?
Yes, it is fun and challenging for both adults and children. If the children are under 6 years old you can take a ride in the bay of Akti on a pedal boat.
WHAT IF IT RAINS?
If it rains we all go out of the park for safety reasons (possible lightning) and since summer rains usually last a short time, we go back in when it stops (time does not count how long we will be out of the sea).
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT'S WINDY?
WETPARK monitors the weather from accredited sites (EMY) and postpones its operation with strong winds or even lightning in the area. Its operation is dependent on weather conditions and we reserve the right, without prior notice, to suspend activities if deemed necessary by park officials.
CAN I LEAVE BEFORE THE 60 MINUTES ARE UP?
Yes, you can leave before the time is up, however you cannot return to the water park if your time is up.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I'VE MADE A RESERVATION AND I'M STUCK IN TRAFFIC?
We will do our best to pick up your ticket immediately, if there is no availability you will enter at the next hour. No refunds.
CAN YOU GO TO THE WETPARK FOR MORE THAN AN HOUR?
Yes you can, you just need to get a full day ticket.
WHERE CAN I STORE MY THINGS?
The beach provides lockers that you can get from the main entrance of Akti Tou Iliou.
IS THERE A PARKING SPACE NEARBY?
Yes, there is parking a short distance away in the Acanthus parking lot and a small parking lot in Bolivar. You could also leave the car opposite Alimos.
